Samoan Food

We enjoyed eating some Samoan food. We tried some palusami which is made with taro leaves and coconut cream. Spinach leaves were used instead of taro leaves. We all agreed it was tasty. As well, we tried some mango, pineapple and coconut.

Poi Performance

Room 1 and 2 are twirling pois and singing along with the Maori greeting song Nau Mai.
This is a practise session at our school hall before taking part in Hui Ako at Dunedin North Intermediate.

Colourful Crabs

As part of our Rocky Shore Topic we kept crabs in an aquarium in Room 2. At the end of the topic we made our own crabs out of paper plates. We painted them in bright colours and used pipe cleaners as legs.
