Symmetry

Today we went outside and drew symmetry patterns on the ground with chalk. We started off with basic patterns but as some children became more confident, they drew more complex designs for another child to make into a symmetrical pattern.

Monkeys from Africa?

We have combined our theme of Africa with our study of symmetry and created our own version of monkeys. We have noticed that there is symmetry all around us including nature.
